Richard Norris is the President and founder of Integrity College Consultants. After a year-long college search for his oldest son, he came to realize the vital need for a college consultancy that would facilitate this difficult, complex, and time-consuming process. So, he established Integrity College Consultants, knowing exactly what was necessary to aid, support and encourage parents looking for a college for their student.
Prior to starting the company, Rick spent over twenty successful years in the financial services industry. He started as a Registered Representative at Dean Witter Reynolds (now Morgan Stanley) in 1983. Rick quickly rose in the field up to the executive level and worked for several prestigious companies, including the insurance giants Aetna and Allianz, as well as major investment management firms, such as Oppenheimer, Dreyfus, and Bear Stearns. Currently, Rick is an independent financial advisor specializing in retirement and college planning.
Rick has traveled extensively throughout the US. Enjoying new scenes and changes, he has called New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Ohio, California and Arizona home. For the past twelve years, he has resided in Scottsdale, AZ, with his wife and three sons.
A member of the Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA) and an Associate Member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA), Rick is a 1977 graduate of Marietta College in Ohio, where he excelled academically and was involved in wide-ranging sports, college and community activities, clubs and events.
